Equipment & Scope of Supply

Lmart supplied four (4) ammonia direct-cooling packages, each delivering 5,600 kW of refrigeration at −38 °C. Unlike brine-chiller systems, the direct-cooling configuration evaporates ammonia in process heat exchangers, removing the efficiency penalty of a secondary glycol loop and achieving the deep sub-zero temperatures the Rectisol wash demands.

Each unit is driven by a 1,600 kW compressor motor, and the complete scope was designed to GB standards. Wison Engineering served as the EPC contractor, integrating the refrigeration packages into the overall Rectisol and syngas facility.

Quality Control and Project Execution
