SAFETY STANDARDS & CERTIFICATIONS

Lmart holds direct certifications — not sub-contracted. Every stamp is our own.

  • ASME BPVC Section VIII Div.1 — U-Stamp
  • PED 2014/68/EU — CE Marking (Module H)
  • GB/T 150 — Chinese national pressure vessel standard
  • EN 13445 — European unfired pressure vessels
  • ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management system
  • ISO 14001 — Environmental management system

The U-Stamp authorises Division 1 construction only — Division 2, power boilers and repair work are separate certificates. what the ASME U-Stamp actually covers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions from EPC engineers and procurement teams about pressure vessel design and fabrication

What design codes does Lmart use for pressure vessel fabrication?

We manufacture to ASME BPVC Section VIII Division 1 (U-Stamp), PED 2014/68/EU with CE marking, EN 13445, and Chinese standard GB/T 150. Code selection depends on the installation country’s regulatory requirements and the client’s project specification. For marine applications, we obtain type approval from the required classification society (DNV, ABS, BV, LR, NK, or CCS).

What types of pressure vessels does Lmart manufacture?

Our product range covers reactor vessels (tubular, stirred tank, fixed bed, fluidized bed), shell-and-tube heat exchangers (TEMA-compliant, fixed tubesheet, floating head, U-tube, kettle reboiler), storage vessels (spherical, horizontal, vertical, cryogenic LNG/LPG tanks up to 10,000 m³), separators, knockout drums, columns, and adsorption towers. Each vessel is custom-engineered to the project datasheet.

What is your maximum design pressure and temperature capability?

Design pressure up to 35 MPa (5,076 psi) and operating temperatures from −196°C (cryogenic LNG/nitrogen service) to 800°C (high-temperature reactor service). For extreme conditions, we apply ASME Section VIII Div.2 design-by-analysis methodology with finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize wall thickness and nozzle reinforcement.

What materials can you fabricate with?

Carbon steels (Q345R, SA516-70, SA387), stainless steels (304L, 316L, 321, 347), low-temperature steels (9% Ni / SA553 for cryogenic service), duplex and super duplex (S32205, S32750), titanium (TA2, Ti-6Al-4V), nickel alloys (Inconel 625, Hastelloy C-276), and clad/lined construction. We hold 600+ PQR welding procedure qualifications and source all materials from approved mills with full traceability (EN 10204 3.1/3.2).

What classification society approvals does Lmart hold?

Lmart is approved by six international classification societies: DNV (Det Norske Veritas), ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), BV (Bureau Veritas), LR (Lloyd’s Register), NK (ClassNK), and CCS (China Classification Society). We also support regional certifications including DOSH (Malaysia), CRN (Canada), and MOM (Singapore). Our marine pressure equipment has been installed on LNG carriers, container vessels, and offshore platforms.

What is the typical lead time for a custom pressure vessel?

Small to medium vessels (≤10 tonnes): 6–10 weeks. Large vessels or special alloy construction: 10–18 weeks. Projects with classification society inspection and full EPC documentation: add 2–4 weeks. Our 38,000 m² workshop with 50T overhead cranes and 15,000 T/year capacity allows parallel fabrication of multiple vessels. A production schedule with hold/witness points is issued at order confirmation.
