Team Spirit on the Court: Lmart Joins the 2026 Huachang Group Spring Games
Lmart sent a team to the 2026 Huachang Group Staff Spring Games on March 25, competing with fellow member companies in a series of team-based events.
With spring in the air and energy running high, the labour union of Jiangsu Huachang (Group) Co., Ltd. held its 2026 Staff Spring Fun Games to enrich employees’ cultural life and strengthen exchange among the group’s member companies. The games took place on March 25 at the indoor basketball court of Xicheng Sports Park. Answering the group’s call, Lmart carefully selected employees to form a team and joined fellow member companies on the court — showing the upbeat, united spirit of Lmart’s staff.
The games centred on team-cooperation events, with four contests: “beads travel ten thousand miles” (passing a ball along hand-held channels), a table-tennis-ball relay, shuttlecock kicking, and a back-to-back ball-carry relay. Final rankings were decided by cumulative time across all events, blending fun, cooperation and competition. After the notice went out, the union rallied employees to sign up and chose eight main players to form the team, along with a captain to coordinate arrangements. Before the games, players used spare moments to build coordination, exchange tips, review the rules and practise their handovers.
Friendship first, competition second
The scene was lively, with cheers rising from every side. In “beads travel ten thousand miles,” players lined up and passed the ball steadily along their channels, holding their breath and adjusting positions to keep it moving; any slip was met with a quick reset. The table-tennis relay tested balance as players steadied their bats and moved forward; the shuttlecock event called for nimble footwork; and the most challenging back-to-back relay relied on partners pressing back to back and stepping in sync.
Throughout, Lmart’s players held to the spirit of “friendship first, competition second,” encouraging one another and staying composed. When mistakes happened, no one complained — they regrouped quickly and cheered each other on.
A day of games, a moment of unity. Taking part not only helped employees ease work pressure and stay fit, but also built a platform for exchange with other member companies. Afterwards, players noted that the events’ emphasis on coordination and communication mirrors everyday work. Lmart’s team will carry that spirit of unity and perseverance back into their jobs, contributing Lmart’s strength to the group’s high-quality development.
