What documentation do you supply with each compression package?
Every package ships with: general arrangement and 3D model, P&ID, equipment datasheets, electrical single-line diagram (SLD), cable schedules, ITP/QCP, WPS/PQR, NDT records, FAT report with loop check and performance test results, cause-and-effect matrix, spare parts list, and complete MDR. Class/CE documentation packs are provided on request.
Can the packages be delivered for ATEX/IECEx hazardous zones?
Yes. We select Ex-rated instruments, motors, junction boxes, and lighting per the area classification (Zone 1/2). Implementation includes earthing/bonding, Ex-certified cable glands, ATEX/IECEx labeling, gas detection, and full compliance documentation. Zone drawings and hazardous area dossiers are included in the MDR.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard compression packages: 12–20 weeks ex-works. Complex multi-stage or API 618 reciprocating packages with pulsation studies: 18–26 weeks. Lead time depends on BOM complexity, compressor vendor lead, long-lead instrumentation, and classification or Notified Body reviews.
Which compressor types and API standards do you work with?
We integrate centrifugal compressors (API 617), integrally-geared packaged units (API 672), reciprocating compressors (API 618), and rotary positive-displacement screw compressors (API 619). Auxiliary systems include API 614 lube/seal oil, API 670 machinery protection (vibration, temperature, overspeed, surge), and antisurge control logic for centrifugal machines.
Do you support marine class approvals for compression packages?
Yes. We prepare class documentation packages for DNV, ABS, BV, and CCS. This covers type-approval drawings, material certificates, welding qualifications, and NDT reports. We have delivered BOG compressor skids for PIL 14K TEU dual-fuel container vessels built at Jiangnan Shipyard with full DNV class approval.
How do you handle pulsation and vibration control for reciprocating compressors?
For API 618 reciprocating packages, we commission pulsation and mechanical vibration studies (Design Approach 2 or 3 per the client’s spec). Pulsation bottles/dampeners are sized per the acoustic study results, and orifice plates or choke tubes are installed where required. API 670 instrumentation monitors vibration, rod-drop, and crosshead guide temperature in real time.
